Adsense Allows Changing Font Family in Contextual Ads

February 20, 2009

This has been a long awaited option for adsense users. Now we can change our ad’s font family to match our content. It is against Google‘s TOS (Terms of Service) to modify the Adsense code independently from the options provided, so this is a great addition to the Adsense control panel.

The optional fonts are: Arial, Times, and Verdana

The beauty of this option is that our ads can blend with our copy; and for those only interested in high CTR (who isn’t?) hopefully it will only help increase that measurement.

This is great. Time to edit my content ads!
