CNN, YouTube and the US Presidential Debate

23 July 2007

I normally don’t watch news… call me crazy, but there are a lot more important things in my life than what CNN has got to say.

But today (and I normally don’t watch tv for that matter), I scanned across CNN’s “CNN and YouTube” special show.

Basically CNN and YouTube.com have partnered up and co-sponsored the US Presidential Debates. Voters can submit videos about their top priorities on YouTube and they are discussed on CNN.

Top Issues:

  • Education
  • Healthcare (addresses Hilary Clinton’s former plan under President Bill Clinton)
  • Iraq; The War in Iraq and the withdrawl of the troops

I find it very interesting that we’re finally seeing the mix of Television and Internet Video (YouTube.com) and how they can work together to formulate a message to the world.

Y ay Google!
