Twitter Popularity in Canada

Stuck on the Facebook bandwagon? Lost pizazz in your originality department? Well, look no further because Twitter is here!… at least its been here since March 2006. Founded by a San Francisco start-up company, Obvious Corp… obviously

I’ve been using Twitter for a month now, but noticed only one person I know in Canada uses it; my boss (bow to my sensei) – meaning my followers list is quite thin. But that’s okay, because its got me asking questions about how a less popularized social media tool like Twitter got me using it, and why other people I know dont.

I remember when myspace was super, super crazy and someone made an animation of Pres. G.W. Bush addicted to it. I’ll admit, Facebook had me on thieir site for an hour (okay, it was two) watching things happen.

I discovered Twitter while reading posts in the web design community. A few minutes later, I hopped on.

Justifying the lack of use in my circle of friends: They either simply don’t surf the web for the same things or I’m too much into integrating any cool social tool into my wordpress site
