How to Get WordPress to Update Your Permalink

Sometimes the first time you type the title of your blog post on WordPress you’ll go back and edit it or create a new title entirely. One of the great things about WordPress is that its URL Friendly for important things like SEO. When you’re creating a new post, after you enter your post’s title, WordPress will automatically create the permalink or URL (make sure you updated the permalink settings in your admin for this to work) for your post. But because WordPress can tell when you’ve stopped typing in the title area or when you’ve clicked away like into the content area, it won’t update the permalink automatically if you decide to edit your post’s title later.

As you'll see in my video, I started out with a long post title but then after I created the video I changed the title of it and I had to get WordPress to regenerate the permalink.
