Kill A Watt Graphic Timer Review

Kill A Watt Graphic Timer P4480Kill A Watt Graphic Timer review. The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer (P4480) is an exciting new product from P3 International. Their Kill-A-Watt and Kill A Watt EZ are popular home energy meters that measure power consumption at the plug level, that allow measurement of kWh and cost of any device or home appliance plugged into it. One of my uncles actually has a Kill-A-Watt EZ; he bought it online last year from the same company that I purchased my Kill A Watt Graphic Timer in December. He just said, “it tell’s you how much it costs to run his fish tank!” (haha).

Well, I’ve finally gotten around to writing my review for my new Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer!

When I was younger, I remember my dad coming home with this cream-coloured traditional timer that had this movable picks that you moved around the clock area which turns whatever we plugged into it on or off based on its position. With the Kill A Watt Graphic Timer, there's no need for those tiny picks and programming the on/off times for whatever I've plugged into it is done completely digital. The Kill-A-Watt (P4480) has a large LED display that is backlit with this orange tint, angled upwards at a 10 or 15 degree and is almost the same size as my digital camera's LCD. I remember seeing my uncles older, yet still great, KillAWatt EZ; its this single line display - the Kill A Watt Timer's display is much more generous and easier to read most definitely. Its a digital timer. The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer is more than just a pretty face. The large display shows 15 minute increment blocks for every 15 minute interval of a 24 hour day. Every 15 minutes is programmable to have the digital timer turn your appliance on or off. Even more, the KillAWatt Graphic Timer allows you to program each day of the week which is a really great feature considering the fact that your weekend use may differ from your weekday usage pattern. Overall, the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer is an inexpensive plug timer that is easy to program and even simpler to operate. The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer retails for about $69 US or about $79 CAN.
