CALGARY, ALBERTA – Charity: Water and Calgary Twestival announce an evening of social media discussion as we share beverages and enjoy live music in The Auburn Saloon at the base of the Calgary Tower. Participate in the festivities, silent auction, network and take in live music from local musicians. Join Calgary’s Twitter community in our goal to raise $4,000.00 to provide clean drinking water to impoverished communities.

What?:
A Twestival is an evening charity event that started in London 2008 by Twitter users to do some good for a social cause and have a good time too. This year 180 cities worldwide will be hosting this event having a great time, learning about social media and raise money for CHARITY: WATER.
Calgary’s Twestival will feature live music, silent auctions, raffles, a free one year membership to SpinVox (spinvox.com) and a panel of experienced social media practitioners for a fun Q&A session. The panel is as follows:
