When I first noticed the “Integrate your Adsense account with Google Analytics linked in December last year, after I completed the linking wizard, nothing happened and it hasn’t worked until about 5 minutes ago for me. I watched the same videos as everyone else twice and to no effect they had.

Yesterday and before 5 minutes ago I actually thought maybe because Im in Canada, Google’s setup for this feature to Canadians has been delayed, but no… I just hope it wasn’t a user (ahem, me) error. Well it works now and if you’re setting this feature up for the first time and its not working for you, make sure you press the “continue” button at the very bottom of the page where it gives you code to copy and paste into the header part of your websites.

Specifically, you can view earnings based on user visits rather than just page impressions, giving you a more complete picture of the time users spend on your site before clicking on your ads. You can also break down your AdSense earnings by user location, browser type, and referring source to find out where and how users are reaching your site.

Look for AdSense reports under the Content section in the Analytics navigation sidebar, and the AdSense Revenue tab on some other reports in Analytics, for a breakdown of your traffic by AdSense impressions, clicks, and revenue instead of by pageviews.
